After you create your standard/manual awards under the awards tab, they are ready to go out. Sending out standard awards is done under the Activity feed through a recognition.
How To Give Out A Standard/ Manual Award
- Click into the Who do you want to recognize box and input the name of the person/people receiving the award. The first steps are the same as giving out a recognition
- Write in the message you want to add to the award i.e. a congratulations message
- Select the award from the Awards dropdown menu. As an admin, you have the ability to give out any award through a recognition regardless of how it's set up (i.e. automatic award, open for nominations or requires approval)
- The applicable points attached to the award will automatically be set on the recognition
- You can opt to send the award to the recipients only by selecting your company name in the bottom left and changing it to Recipients only
- You can now post the award by selecting the Post button. You will now see the award sent out to the recipient. If it was posted publicly, other people can read and engage on the post by leaving a comment
