Q: What is Bucketlist Rewards?
A: An easy-to-use platform and mobile app that allows you to recognize your team members for all the great work they do. It’s a way to congratulate and celebrate the achievements of your team in a meaningful way.
Q: Why is recognition important?
A: Recognizing your colleagues helps break down team barriers, increases employee engagement, and builds strong company culture.
Q. How often should I recognize my colleagues?
A: Frequently. It’s suggested to recognize your colleagues daily or weekly for all the amazing contributions that they do to your company. Whenever possible, take 1-2 minutes out of your day to recognize your colleagues. Recognitions are the most impactful within the day of the good deed taking place. We also see great success when you rotate and recognize members within and across departments.
Q: What is the difference between "points to give" and “balance of points”?
A: "To give" are points that will be automatically given to you each week or month that you can use when recognizing or awarding your colleagues. Whether you have points to give will depend on your company's program setup.
A balance of points is awarded to you from your fellow team members in the form of recognition or awards for doing something awesome! You can use this balance of points for rewards in the redeem section.
Q: How many "to give" points do I receive and how often?
A: This depends on your role at the company. You’ll notice how many and how often you receive points through email notifications. You can also check out your balance of points to give in your profile box when logged into the platform. Points to give do expire at the end of each distribution period, so make sure you use them! Points will then reset the next week or month, etc.
Q: How do I earn Points?
A: By doing amazing work that your fellow team members appreciate. This program is designed to celebrate everyday achievements, as well as milestone achievements.
Q: What do I do with my earned Points?
A: Head to the redeem section in the platform. You can save them up over time and redeem them for some really great rewards or cash them for gift cards, donate them to charity or use them for company rewards. How and when you choose to redeem your points is entirely up to you.
Q: Do my balance of Points expire?
A: Your earned points do not expire, feel free to save them up for whatever reward catches your eye.
Q: How do I know how many points to use when recognizing someone?
A: While there is no limit to how many points you can use for any one recognition, we recommend up to 5-10 points for everyday type recognitions and 15+ points for milestone type recognitions (if you have enough to give). Just use your best judgment, it really is up to you. If it was an above-and-beyond moment or project that your colleague worked on that was a big success, maybe you’ll give a little bit more points!
Q: What are the criteria for recognizing someone?
A: Be specific and make it meaningful. Tell them why you’re recognizing them. For example, thank them for their hard work with a specific project they worked on, their impact on the company, or their care for your customers. Write more than just a simple “Thank You”. Also, be sure to select one or more core values for all recognitions!
