For those who manually manage their users, you are able to edit all of the member information within the platform. This is useful if a member changes name, email address, moves roles within the company, or changes groups or countries. 

Please note that if your HRIS system or SFTP is connected to the platform, you will need to make user information changes within that system and not within Bucketlist. If you make changes within Bucketlist, the information will revert back to what is in the HRIS or SFTP file when the platform syncs overnight. Aside from user information, you are able to make changes to the user's redeemable points and points-to-give within Bucketlist as this information is not connected to your HRIS or SFTP integration. 


How To Edit User Information

These instructions are applicable to those who manually manage their users. Please click here if you manage your users through your HRIS or SFTP integration. 

  1. Select the drop-down menu in the top right corner
  2. Select Members
  3. On this page, you will see the list of all the current active members within the platform
  4. From here, either scroll to locate the member or use the Search Members bar to locate the member by name or email address
  5. Once you have located the member, simply click on the name of the user. In the pop-up box, you will see all of the member's information
  6. For those manually managing their users within Bucketlist, you are able to change any and all of the fields listed: first name, last name, email, birthday, employment start, roles, groups and country. You are also able to resend the platform invite or change a user's password. Please note, if you use single-sign-on (SSO) for logging in, you are unable to change a password through here as the user should adjust it within their SSO settings.
  7. Aside from changing user information, you are also able to change a user's redeemable points in bank and points-to-give. These changes can be made regardless of how you manage your users (manually, HRIS or SFTP) as this information is not tied to an external system and is only held within Bucketlist. 
  8. To change this information, scroll to the bottom of the box and select the applicable points option: Redeemable Points or Points to Give
  9. In this pop-up, you will input the new points balance the user will have, a reason and select save. It's important to note that you need to enter the final total points and not the amount you are trying to add or subtract. For example, if a user has 100 points to give and you need to add an additional 20, you will input 120 in the box


HRIS or SFTP Integrations: These instructions are applicable to those who manage their users through HRIS or SFTP integration. Please click here if you manually manage your users. 

  1. For those using an HRIS or SFTP integration, you will need to make the following changes within your HRIS or SFTP file directly: first name, last name, email, birthday, employment start, roles, groups and country
  2. Once those changes are made within the applicable system, Bucketlist will sync the information over and make the changes within Bucketlist
  3. Aside from the above areas, you are able to do the following things within Bucketlist: resend the platform invite or change a user's password. Please note, if you use single-sign-on (SSO) for logging in, you are unable to change a password through here as the user should adjust it within their SSO settings.
  4.  You are also able to change a user's redeemable points in bank and points-to-give. These changes can be made regardless of how you manage your users (manually, HRIS or SFTP) as this information is not tied to an external system and is only held within Bucketlist.
