How do I create Batch Awards?

In this article, we will guide you through the steps to create batch awards on the platform.

For Platform Administrators:
This article is intended for Bucketlist platform administrators. If you are an employee or end-user, some features or settings described here may not be available to you.

Batch Awards offer a convenient way to streamline the distribution of large volumes of awards at once for efficient and organized recognitions.

Batch Awards are usually created on special occasions such as Employee Appreciation Day, Thanksgiving award, Christmas/Holiday Award, Company-wide achievements.

This article outlines steps to take for efficient batch awards recognition.

Batch Award Steps

Step 1: Create a Standard Award:

Before initiating the batch award process, it is necessary to create a standard award.

Step 2: Initiate Batch Award Process

Now that you have a standard award in place, to ensure a smooth batch award process, you need to provide your dedicated Customer Success Manager or Bucketlist support with some specific information. This includes (template below):

  • Email: List the email addresses of the recipients.
  • Award Name: Specify the name of the award to be granted.
  • Award Message: Craft an appreciative message for the recipients.
  • Confirm with Bucketlist:
    • Date and time to Deliver. Indicate the preferred delivery date and time (including timezone) for the awards to be delivered. Note: this must be within business hours for Bucketlist. 
    • Send Awards Privately Yes/No. If awards are sent privately, then they will not appear on the activity feed. This is recommended to avoid flooding of the activity feed with a large number of recognitions. 
    • Disable notifications Yes/No. We have the ability to turn off notification emails for the award delivery (applies for Email, Slack, Beekeeper, Webhooks etc.)

Step 3: Rewards Float Funding

Please review and confirm that the rewards float current balance will be sufficient to cover any points distributed or rewards attached to the batch award send out. To check your rewards float balance from the platform, please follow this article

This article describes how to fund your rewards float. If you need help with funding, please let Bucketlist know when confirming in step 4.

Step 4: Review

Please review the information to provide for accuracy- Confirm that the email addresses, award names, messages, and delivery dates are correct. After confirming, submit the batch award request to your dedicated Customer Success manager or support@bucketlistrewards.com.
