Connecting to Bucketlist


  1. Open the Bucketlist tab found within your organization’s channel within MS Teams. See the example below (your setup may look slightly different):
  2. Click "Login to Bucketlist" and enter your Bucketlist credentials. 
  3. When prompted to authorize MS Teams, click "Authorize":
     
    • There is a known issue where this window may not close after you authorize. In this case please follow the steps shown below: 

       

      • Navigate back to the “Bucketlist” tab in your channel.
      • You should see the Bucketlist interface within the tab, which will look similar to this:

Giving Recognitions and Awards

Here you can perform almost all the same actions that you can in the Bucketlist app!

  • To create a recognition, click “Give Recognition” and follow the steps
  • To give an award, click “Give Award” and follow the steps

Note that the steps will let you move forward and back in the process, in case you want to change anything about your recognition or reward, and that you will see a preview before you submit. 

Your recognition or award will appear in the Bucketlist app immediately as well.


The configuration settings that you created when you set up Bucketlist will be seen within MS Teams including:

  • Point selection and visibility options
  • Core values
  • Award options available to each user

*Note: At this time, Achievement awards are not available within the MS Teams integration.

Liking, Commenting, and Boosting

You can add likes and comments to recognitions and awards within MS Teams and those will also appear in the Bucketlist App.

If your Bucketlist site has been set up to accept point boosts, you will be able to do that as well, and you will have the same point options as in the Bucketlist app.

Notifications

When new content is posted to Bucketlist which is relevant to you, you will see notifications appear in the “Posts” tab.

Click “Go to Bucketlist Tab” to go directly into the Bucketlist tab to view the content.

Exiting MS Teams

Go to the menu at top right to logout, go to Bucketlist or to return to Bucketlist support

FAQs

Q: Is the MS Teams integration available in languages other than English?

Not at this time.

Q: How do I redeem my points for Bucketlist reward?

At this time, this can only be done from within the Bucketlist app, which you can get to from the menu at top right?

Q: Does the integration work in mobile?

Yes, the integration works in the desktop, browser and mobile versions of MS Teams.

Q: How can I report issues with the integration?

Please go to our support page for support. We are very interested in your early feedback for this Beta version of the integration, so please do not hesitate to reach out with questions or feedback.

Q: Do notes and events from the Bucketlist app appear in the MS Teams integration?

Not at this time. Only recognitions and awards will appear in MS Teams.
