Bucketlist Insights Dashboard- Customer FAQs

This article will go over the Insights tab in Bucketlist and provide some FAQs

What are the insights dashboards? 

Insights currently contains two dashboards. You can navigate between the dashboards using the tabs at the top. 

  • Recognitions Dashboard – Shows a company-wide view of recognition activity, including a summary of recognitions over time and a departmental breakdown for the last year.
  • Manager Dashboard – Allows you to dig deeper into recognitions within each team. Use the dropdowns at the top to choose the team you want to focus on and to change the time period you are viewing.

How often is the data refreshed?

The data in the Insights dashboards is refreshed overnight every day. New activity will appear after the next daily refresh.

How do the visuals handle recognitions to more than one recipient?

A recognition sent to more than one person is counted once for each recipient.
For example, a recognition to four people is considered four recognitions—both from the perspective of recognitions given and recognitions received.

How long do Insights sessions last?

Interactive features in the Insights dashboards may stop working after 30 minutes. If you have the page open for longer than this, please reload the page to start a new session. 

Why did my dashboard session expire or stop responding? 

If the dashboard remains idle or open for an extended period, your session can expire and the interactive features may stop responding. In that case:

  1. Refresh the page to start a new session.

  2. If you see a message indicating that dashboard capacity is full, please wait a few minutes and try again.

This behavior is related to how our analytics provider manages sessions and capacity.

If the dashboard still seems slow or unresponsive:

  1. Ensure you are using an up-to-date version of a supported desktop browser (for example, Chrome, Edge, or Firefox).

  2. If the issue persists, please contact our support team with details of what you were doing when the issue occurred.

Are Insights available on mobile?

Not at this time. The dashboards are designed for wide screens and are currently not available on mobile devices.

Can I download the data?

Yes. For many of the visuals, you will see an options menu that allows you to view summary data or export the underlying data as a CSV file. If a particular visual does not show export options, its data may not be available for download.

I am seeing, or not seeing, some teams that I expect to see.

To keep the dashboards focused and useful, we may filter out teams that are very small or appear irrelevant in this context. We can customize which teams are available to you in Insights by selecting a subset of your teams.

I am having trouble interpreting some of the visuals presented.

Many visuals include explanatory labels, but we recognize that some charts can still feel technical. We try to balance providing explanations with keeping the dashboards uncluttered.

What are the industry benchmarks?

Our industry benchmarks are based on an aggregate analysis of Bucketlist data across organizations. These benchmarks are anonymized and are designed to give you a high-level reference point for how your recognition activity compares to typical patterns.
