Bucketlist Survey FAQ


1. What is this Bucketlist Survey?


The goal of this survey is to gather data and insights on how our recognition programs impact your employees. Your insights drive our continuous improvement.


2. Does Bucketlist collect any user data through this survey?

We do not track which Bucketlist user goes with which response. However, we can not prevent someone from entering identifying information into text input. Also, we do track some basic information like country, and the address the user was viewing when they filled in the survey, which in some cases might narrow down who the user is.

3. How do I access the survey?

As soon as you log into the platform, the survey will appear as a feedback button. Click on it to take the survey.


4. I can’t see the survey, what’s happening?

Some browser extensions, such as BitDefender (“ad blocker” style extensions), will block 3rd party survey tools. If you want to see if this is the issue, you could try temporarily disabling it and reloading. Note we should not be recommending this action as a general rule - we do not want to be responsible for the internal security policies of our customers.


It could also be that you have already taken the survey.


5. Can I take the survey more than once if I change browsers or change to mobile/desktop?

The cookies between a Mobile and Desktop are different and so HotJar is unable to track what Bucketlist user has taken the survey (this is a good thing), so switching browsers / devices would appear as a new user to Bucketlist. It may be possible down the road with some custom development to prevent this.


6. I can’t move forward/back in the survey, or see a progress bar that lets me know how much of the survey I've done.

The survey tool currently does not support navigation between questions.This is a limitation of the tool itself, which we are unable to modify.


7. If I have taken the survey, can I go back and change my answers?

You can't change your answers after submitting the survey. This is due to the default settings of the Survey tool, which we don't have control over.


8. Can I customize the look and feel of the survey (colors, position on the screen, add my logo, or some other customization) just for me?

Currently, we use a standard survey template to keep costs effective, so individual customizations such as colors, screen positioning, or adding logos are not available. 


9. Does Survey tool pick up my preferred language?.


At the moment, the survey tool does not automatically detect or adjust to your preferred language. While browser language tools may provide automatic translation, we do not control or guarantee the accuracy of these translations.


10. Can the user retake the survey?


The user can take the survey only once at a given time. However, if you want to rerun the survey for your employees, Bucketlist can copy the survey as a new survey, which can then be turned on.


11. Can additional questions be added?

Adding additional questions is technically possible, but it would require creating a separate survey, which we currently do not support due to resource constraints. In the future, we might offer this as part of a premium service.

12. How is the data presented?

The data is exported as csv (spreadsheet). This will have to be sent to customers manually.

13. Can the audience be segmented?


Currently, surveys are sent to everyone within a specified subdomain.
