Bucketlist Community Page

The Community section gives you a complete, organized view of everyone in your organization on Bucketlist.

What is the Community section and how do I use it?

The Community section gives you a complete, organized view of everyone in your organization on Bucketlist. It's especially useful for managers and admins in larger or more complex organizations who need to quickly find people, understand team structure, and track recognition activity — all from one place.

How do I get to the Community section?

  1. Log in to your Bucketlist platform.
  2. Select Community from the main navigation menu.

Choosing your view

You can toggle between two ways of browsing the directory:

  • List view — displays members in a sortable table, so you can sort by any column (like name, team, or recognitions).
  • Cards view — a more compact, visual layout for quickly scanning through members.

Switch between the two depending on whether you want a detailed, data-style view or a simpler at-a-glance browse.

Finding people and teams

The Community section includes improved filtering to help you quickly locate specific users or teams:

  • Use the Search by Name field to search for users
  • Use the Team dropdown to filter by team
  • Use the Sort function to sort by Name (A->Z or Z->A), Most/least given recognitions, or Most/least received recognitions in Card View
  • Use the "My Reports" button to view your direct reports, and direct manager above.

Viewing organizational hierarchy

Look for the hierarchy icon () next to a member's name — selecting it shows you exactly where that person sits in your organization's structure, including:

  • Who they report to (those above them)
  • Who reports to them (direct reports, if any)

This makes it easy to understand reporting lines without leaving the page. You can click "clear" in the messaging at the top to revert to the normal community page.

Tracking recognitions

The Community page now includes columns showing recognitions given and received, including any awards. You can:

  • Sort by either column to see who's most active in giving or receiving recognition
  • Adjust the date range to look at a specific time period (7d, 30d, 90d, or All time)

This gives you the same kind of insight as the leaderboard, right in the directory — so it's the best place to check recognition activity going forward.

Recognizing and connecting with members

From the Community section, you can:

  • Select a member's name or click "Profile"in list view; or hover over a member's card in card view and click "View"; to go directly to their profile
    • Their profile will display their recognitions received and recognitions given; their date joined and birthday (if available), and Awards received
  • In Card View, hover over a member's card and select the Recognize button to jump straight to the activity feed with that person already selected, ready for you to send a recognition

Frequently Asked Questions

What's the difference between List view and Cards view? List view is a sortable table format, best for comparing members across columns like team or recognitions. Cards view is a more compact, visual layout for quick browsing.

How do I see everyone on a specific team? Click that team's name in the Team column, and the directory will automatically filter to show just that team.

How do I see who someone reports to? Select the hierarchy icon next to their name to view their position in the organization, including who they report to and who reports to them.

Is the leaderboard going away? The recognition data available in the Community section (given, received, and awards, with adjustable date ranges) covers much of the same ground as the leaderboard. The leaderboard may be deprecated in the future as this becomes the primary way to view recognition activity.

Can I recognize someone directly from the Community section? Yes — select the Recognize button next in card view, and you'll be taken to the activity feed with that person already selected so you can send your recognition right away.
